Standard forms of matriculation
A prospective student MUST have a minimum of five (5) passes in subjects at CSEC or GCE O’Level including English ‘A’ (CXC/CSEC) or English Language (GCE O’Level) and Mathematics (CXC/CSEC)
Alternate forms of matriculation
- Equivalent qualification(s) as determined by the Institute
- Mature Status as determined by the Institute
Mature Application:
Applicants over the age of 25 years who would not normally qualify for admission in full or provisional status are encouraged to apply as mature applicant. Applicants would be granted admission based on four main areas: work experience, job responsibilities, technical training and skills certificates, and competence. Applicants applying for mature entry will also be required to sit an English Language and/or Mathematics examination set by Gomex.
Required Documents:
- The completed application form must be submitted.
- A notarized copy of the certificate of birth Marriage certificate where applicable,
- Tax Payer Registration Number – TRN
- Notarized copy of all qualification.
- Two passport size photographs notarized by a Minister of Religion, Senior Police or Army Officer, Justice of the Peace, Doctor or a Lawyer.
Additional Requirements for Digital Forensics
In addition to the Basic Matriculation Requirements and the following:
- A Current Criminal Record
- Two Character References (Justice Of the Peace and a Police Officer)
- Sign Code of Conduct
- An Interview Maybe Required
