Gomex Institute of Technology seeks to offer internationally accredited training programmes, this will equip our graduates with skills and credentials that are delivered with international standards for quality as well as accredited by international standards.
ANSI - Accreditation
Most of our training programmes are accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to ISO 17024 for personnel certification. Since May 14, 1918 ANSI has been accrediting programmes, laboratories, products and services internationally. With over 90 years of accreditation ANSI has developed the reputation of being a highly regarded institution for the maintenance of quality in training and certifications of personnel internationally.
ISO/IEC 17024
The ISO/IEC 17024 was deisgned to harmonize the personnel certification process worldwide. These standards ensure that the certification programme meets at minimum the following standards:
- Defining what it is that the Certification programme examine (the competencies)
- Knowledge, skills and personal attributes
- Examination must be independent
- Examination must be a valid test of competence
